The Admin area of Joomla has a lot of built-in help - here is where to find it...

The Main Joomla Help Page
After you login to Joomla version 1.0 click on "Help" on the main Joomla admin menu. In version 1.5 mouse over "Help" and then click on "Joomla! Help". Here you'll find an alphabetical list of help pages. You can also click on the big Help button when you are working in an area to see the help page relevant to that Joomla area.

If you're just trying to figure out how to edit a webpage, the built-in Joomla help is probably way too technical, right? What our website will try to do is help you with the stuff you want do. Most people don't need to know everything about Joomla, just how to edit their pages and maybe add things to a shopping cart.

Joomla 1.5: Webpages are Articles
In Joomla 1.5, webpages are called Articles. To open an article and edit it, go to Content > Article Manager on the main Joomla Admin menu.

Joomla 1.0: Webpages are Content Items
In Joomla 1.0, webpages are called Content Items. To open a content item and edit it, go to Content > All Content Items on the main Joomla Admin menu.
