How to Update Joomla Copyright or Footer Text

Copyright and contact information is often displayed at the bottom of a Joomla website page or at the bottom of the left column. It is often updated in the Modules Manager. |

Usually you update this by going to Extensions > Module Manager and then looking for the module that contains the information your site displays. It is usually called Footer or Copyright and is in the "copyright" position. The position may be called something else depending on your particular Joomla site.
Scroll down to the editor box so you can update the content. Then Click the "Save" button to complete the process. |
