How do I change the Store contact info?
You can edit the store contact info at Components > VirtueMart > Store > Edit Store.

"Recommend this product to a friend" feature sends an incomplete link to the item recommended
In Joomla 1.0 this feature may not work properly if SEF is enabled. SEF is the system that makes Joomla site links more search engine friendly. See this VirtueMart post for more info. You can turn off "Recommend this product to a friend" in VirtueMart > Configuration. In Joomla 1.5 or later the feature works.

Text in the copyright or footer position doesn't display properly on some VirtueMart pages.
The copyright module position is usually located at the bottom of your website pages and is often used to display contact and copyright information. You may find that on pages that display VirtueMart categories (a categories list rather than individual items for sale) that the text is not correctly displayed (ie: not centered). This usually only occurs in Internet Explorer and works fine in Firefox, Safari and Chrome.

The easiest solution is just to turn of this module for menu items that link to VirtueMart categories. See our help item about working with copyright or footer text for more on how to do this.
